The Security Officer is responsible for the well being of Ades customers, guests and colleagues at all times

Contract Status: Permanent part time/full time. 6 months probationary period

Job Description:

Your responsibilities
To maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees, by patrolling and monitoring the premises and personnel.

Job Requirement:
Customer Focus, helpful and friendly.
Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence.
Energetic and driven.
Vigilance and intuitive.
Physically fit as you will mostly be on your feet patrolling the shop floor, car parks, back rooms and offices.

Main Duties:
Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
Patrol store premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
Move freely among customers and employees to preserve order and protect property and stock.
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers and evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
